Pleasant Valley, named after its namesake valley, has been a favourite for over 50 years. The original 9-holes designed by David Ferguson a former golf professional from Scotland, grew to 18-holes twenty five years ago maturing into a course that challenges both mind and prowess for golfers of all skill levels. Known for its carefully kept fairways and greens, four of the tees are substantially elevated from the fairways below. The ‘signature hole’ at Pleasant Valley would have to be #14, a short hole of 120 yards where the distance from the tee to the green is as much vertical as it is horizontal. Surrounded by mature forests and well protected by greenside bunkers, it is a beauty.
